no good news in a way .one of my lovable relatives uncle Billy-Vasilis passed away .not young .was the man with the stylish provencial dress and an elegant hat.i remember him walking slow with this tall thin figure and a lookalike Adolph Hitller
moustache and an always sarcastic smile .as a child i remember the butter candies he was offering and the tender head caress was giving .he was a man from other era. *distant and bright,always smiling and not at all talkative,from a village of kalamata but always well dressed in grey suit or black woolish gabardine and always with different hat*
even as a dead corp was stylish.a man from other era.
even the last days wanted to take part to future local events and was expecting the next spring to come.a man with schedule...
with the death of uncle billy an era is close to the end.the era of my children's heroes.this era has just a few more guests and a lot of memories then.indeed its bitter but a reality.
