TETOVO trip

just a breath from Skopje town ,Kosovo and further from Athens is definitelly a place of next conflicts .teovo is a special place.radical muslims mixed with Tito era objects and prostitutes blended in a unique balkan cliches pot are making the tetovo a place of
contrasts.an explosive point.

GAZA city

there is no more claustrophobic view from high than Gaza.A city like a cage full of madness and hopelessnes.even during ceasefire people talk for the shootings the bombs and the attacs who are coming soon.the women the kids the men are toxicated from stress and hate.they dont laugh just they smile wisely like they know deeply that there isnt future ,like the life they live is just a phase of waiting and they look forward already for after...

Tehran people

sometimes is more important to get alive and unharmed from a situation than make a supposed good pic and being silly kaput ! in Tehran most valuable thing for a phgotographer is the people.is hard to find trustfull people there but trying might isn t impossible.Me personally ,saved my ass a circle of people who without an obvious reason helped and not only.Inside the depressing vaguish atmosphere of Tehran i found some excellent guys who despite the risk ,supported me to find my way ,see
where is the heat in THR and by the end helped me to leave this place .Wasnt easy. Just huge thnxx SEMI , MORTEZA ,ALI and big heart ATEFEH

Istanbul for twenty hours

From as long as i am travelling to Istanbul ,i can realise that the city changes.Buildings,roads,shops,ad bilboards on streets,fashion,cars are all new. But there is always a spirit in istanbul which remains the same.Is a mixture of light ,the fishermen on the bridges,the pathetic smile,the hiden glance of women and the smells.all these are making Istanbul unique and the perfect place to photograph people and locations.Tessekurr

Kosovo 1.

Kosovo as a place and some people i v met there wasnt a surprise for me.i v been expecting the style and the matter .
after some days i realised kosovo is just a movie scenery in a expensive holluywoodlike production with guest stars ,gorgeous b-role actors ,special effects but also with an expecting end.
...gleich gehts weiter!

Savina .a fan's note

for photographers and especially for portraitists there r always some persons wanted always to photograph.no matter of commersial value or other prejudice but just desired icons.for me were-hopefully- always a few.one was the singer Savinna Giannatou.i dont know but since i heared first time was a familiar person to me.like was case of time when i will meet her as photographer.yesterday i got the chance to meet her ,photograph and go along for a while.
results:1.realised how shy -still-i am
2.she is nice and cool and out of the normal music starsystem complexities(yeah she is a star 4 me and for some others)
3.she is also a bit shy
4.i v lost the chance to make a big pic with one of my favourite artist
5.walking back to go to metro station ,relaxed and fell nicelly.i am lucky in a way .a small dream came true not in a perfect pack but true.
